The Director of Allied Power Group, Mr. Issac Cheng, Continues Community Service After Rotary Presidency

Mr. Issac Cheng, the director of Allied Power Group, has consistently dedicated himself to charitable services alongside his demanding business schedule over the past year, faithfully fulfilling his social responsibilities. The Rotary Club of Hong Kong Sunrise, of which he served as President, successfully held its “34th Anniversary Dinner & Club Installation Ceremony” on 11 July 2026. The event also featured a charity bazaar and a raffle draw, receiving strong support from fellow Rotarians and friends from various sectors, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

At the installation ceremony, immediate past President Mr. Issac Cheng reviewed on the service highlights of the past year, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all members for their selfless dedication and teamwork under the spirit of “Unite for Good”, and encouraged the incoming team to continue upholding the Rotary values in serving the community. During his term, President Mr. Cheng demonstrated outstanding leadership and was honoured with the President Recognition Award Gold by the District Governor of Rotary International District 3450, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to district service and the development of Rotary.

Subsequently, in the presence of distinguished guests, the presidential sash – adorned with name badges of all past presidents – was personally draped from the immeditate past President onto the new President, symbolising the passing of the torch and the continuation of the Rotary mission. President Cheng officially handed over the presidency to the new President, Mr. Ivor Wong.

The event concurrently hosted a charity bazaar featuring a variety of donated items for sale, as well as charity raffle tickets. All proceeds from the bazaar and raffle will be fully allocated to community service projects, fully embodying the Rotary spirit of “Service Above Self”.

Since its establishment in 1992, the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Sunrise has been a registered charitable organisation in Hong Kong. Over the past 34 years, it has been committed to advancing social welfare through diverse service programmes that care for the underprivileged and give back to the community. Looking ahead, although Mr. Issac Cheng has stepped down as President, he will continue to devote himself to the various charitable initiatives of Rotary Club, contributing to society through practical actions and joining hands with all sectors to build a better Hong Kong.
